Gijs Onvlee is an Amsterdam based fiction and documentary editor
who loves to tell and create stories, especially with new perspectives
or that have an impact on society.
His work has been selected and nominated for
the Dutch academy award (golden calf), Cairo international film festival (golden pyramid), DOC NYC, Prix Europa and others.
He has been working on large documentaries (series) and films for streamers like Netflix, Disney+ and HBO MAX. Some of his work has been shown in cinema’s in the Netherlands and many of his documentaries were broadcasted on television by BNNVARA, VPRO, EO and NTR.
