The Battle of Lebanon is a diptych in which Danny Ghosen examines the tense situation in his homeland. He does this on the basis of conversations with the inhabitants. Danny himself fled the country at the age of 15. How would his life have turned out if he had stayed in Lebanon? Why does Lebanon seem to be failing as a country while it was once called the Paris of the Middle East?
